Mission Statement

The mission of the Cultural Exchange for Diplomats is to promote international understanding and friendship through educational, informational, and cultural exchanges with members of the diplomatic community in Washington, D.C.

Guidelines for Interacting with Diplomats.

As a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, CED is apolitical and nonsectarian. Therefore, in discussion with diplomats, we do not promote political partisan positions, religions or our personal causes or businesses.

In addition:

*As a member, I will act respectfully when engaging with diplomats and other volunteers, with sensitivity to all cultures and backgrounds they represent.* As a member, I will respect the privacy of diplomats by asking permission before taking photographs. *As a member, I will not share contact information of any diplomat.

I fully support the Mission of the Cultural Exchange for Diplomats and will adhere to the Guidelines for Interacting with Diplomats as stated. Please initial here:
